I´m "M" a Celebrant in Malaga, Spain, writing a range of vibrant, bespoke ceremonies, including elopements, vow renewals, naming and gratitude ceremonies and new beginning ceremonies, in English and bilingual ceremonies with a fusion of English and Spanish. If someone had told me that in the future, I would learn to speak Spanish, I would probably have thought, maybe!! Why not!! I´ve always considered Spanish a very romantic language and loved the vibrant culture…
However, if they´d said M, what´s more, you´re going to become a celebrant in Spain, writing and officiating bespoke destination wedding ceremonies in Spain; I don´t think I would have believed them…But becoming a wedding officiant has really been one of the best things I´ve ever done…
What I love the most about being a celebrant in Spain is helping you to take your dream ceremony ideas from paper and turn them into reality. Writing and officiating personalised wedding ceremonies for couples like you means I get to create memories that last a lifetime, too!

I´m originally from the UK, Leeds, West Yorkshire, but now live in Málaga capital, Andalucía, Spain.
Don´t get me wrong, I loved working 9-5 and within the UK charities where I worked for over 20 years, but I knew I longed for something more; something was missing…That something was being able to use my creativity every day , being a celebrant in Spain lets me do that.
When I´m not wearing my celebrant hat, I especially love practising yoga, reading Spanish detective novels and walking by the sea because this opens my mind to consider the unique things about you that help me make your ceremony positively authentic. Within my yoga practice, it´s always about exploration and what I can achieve if I allow myself to breathe and see how far I can go. And it´s the same in terms of exploring how far I can take your ceremony, so that it truly reflects you. I get to create something unique that has been shaped by me and can be seen by others. That´s what I really love about being a celebrant in Spain…being able to write and officiate unique and uplifting ceremonies for you, whether you are travelling to Spain from the UK, already live in Spain, or in other parts of the world, be it the US, Australia, really anywhere....
Having a celebrant led wedding has some clear advantages. As a celebrant, fundamentally, I´m a storyteller, and to me, each ceremony is like creating a piece of art. Narrating your journey, I weave your love story into an amazing, vibrant ceremony that creates memories that last a lifetime…
